Bai Audio Database

The ECura project has established an open-access multilingual audio database based on the content of the Bai Dabenqu (大本曲). The team has collected and compiled the data and provided multilingual translations of texts and audio. The current page displays the square Bai script found in Dabenqu, along with its Chinese and English translations, accompanied by audio of the text, as well as International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and Pinyin transcriptions to enhance its audibility and readability for a broader audience. The Dabenqu performances, together with recordings in Bai script and pinyin, have been primarily documented by Yang Sen, a provincial-level representative inheritor of this musical tradition in Yunnan.

All materials and related content are the exclusive property of the ECura Team, which retains full copyright, intellectual property rights, and all other proprietary rights.
