Dr. Kai Zhao received his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics of Composite Structures from Cardiff University. He specializes in composite structures, machine learning, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
In 2023, he joined University College Cork (UCC) at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, and in 2025, he became part of the ECura project in the Department of Music. Currently, he is working on ECura software development, data management, and machine learning for voice recognition.
