Yi Audio Database

The ECura project has established an open-access multilingual audio database based on the content of the Yi Meige epics The team has collected and compiled the data and provided multilingual translations of texts and audio. The current page displays the Yi script found in Meige epics, along with its Chinese and English translations, accompanied by audio of the text, as well as International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and Pinyin transcriptions to enhance its audibility and readability for a broader audience. The Meige tunes have been primarily contributed by Yi villagers, including Luo Rong Xiu, Guo Zian, and Guo Zhengjun, from Mayou, Chu Xiong, Yunnan Province.
